# 2034: This task is already finished

> The Task is completed, failed, rejected, or canceled.

`2034` means: This task is already finished.

| HTTP status | What to do |
| - | - |
| 409 | The Task is `COMPLETED`, `FAILED`, `REJECTED` or `CANCELED`, and nothing changes it after that. Start a new Task. |

## Error response

Relay includes this code in `error.code`. The response also includes `error.status`, `error.message`, and `error.doc_url`; keep `trace_id` when it is present.
